Working With Case Managers Guide - Flipbook - Page 14
What if my problem is not solved?
Sometimes talking with your case manager does not fix
the problem. If that happens, you can take other steps.
Step 1: Contact the supervisor
After speaking with your case manager, you can contact
their supervisor.
If you do not know who that is:
• Ask your case manager, or
• Call the company and ask for the supervisor.
Be ready to explain:
• The problem
• What you have already tried
• What you would like to change
You can share this in a meeting or in writing.
Step 2: Contact the organization
If the supervisor cannot help, contact the organization.
Most organizations have a process to handle complaints.
You may need to put your concerns in writing.
Step 3: Contact a local office
If you still need help, you can contact a local administrative
office. The next pages list programs in Florida and how to
reach them.
