Self-Advocacy Leadership
Key Achievements:
Sustained Florida Self-Advocates (Florida SAND) network with 15 active
groups across the state.
Over 200 self-advocate individuals became trained leaders.
Self-Advocates from the Fellows Leadership Program provided training to
an additional 52 self-advocates and 6 families.
Seventy-three self-advocates and 90 family members self-reported serving
in leadership roles at various organizations across the state.
