Services
Key Achievements:
Developed and tested 12 training modules for behavior therapists to
enhance skills and increase retention in the field and thereby improve
behavioral services for individuals with I/DD and their families.
Designed and piloted crisis management training for first responders and
professionals to improve interactions with individuals with I/DD in
emergency situations.
Dual initiative completed
development of four training
modules: an introduction to
crisis management, prevention
of crisis, intervention during a
crisis, and post-crisis activities.
The modules are to be adopted
by state agencies.
